Dr. Abeer Zletni is a board-certified pediatric dentist who is passionate about helping and treating children. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Benghazi, formerly known as Garyounis University. After graduation, she gained valuable experience working as a general dentist, where she found joy in treating children. At this point, Dr. Zletni decided to pursue her passion for pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Zletni’s education continued at Tufts University, gaining a Master of Science in pediatric dentistry, and then joined Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine to receive a Doctorate of Science degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in pediatric dentistry. During residency, she received extensive training in comprehensive treatment with oral conscious sedation and general anesthesia, special needs patients, and trauma management. Dr. Zletni is currently an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Virginia Dental Association.

When we asked Dr. Zletni what she loves most about being a pediatric dentist, she said, “I truly enjoy being a part of creating positive dental experiences for children and those with special needs. Hearing parents say their child has a newfound love for going to the dentist is an ecstatic experience for me.” We are confident in Dr. Zletni’s abilities and passion for pediatric dentistry.
