Dr. Ali Ghatri
Orthodontist
Dr. Ali Ghatri completed his dental education at Case Western Reserve University, where he was awarded the Certificate of Academic Excellence in Dentistry in both 1991 and 1992. In his last year of dental school, he was granted membership into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for excellence in academic achievement. He received his orthodontic certificate from the University Of Connecticut Department Of Orthodontics and started his practice in the metro area of Washington, D.C. in 1995.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ghatri has treated many children and adults using the newest and most advanced technologies available. He has been a member of the American Association of Orthodontics since 1992 and received the American Association of Orthodontists Scientific Program Award for his participation in orthodontic education and research. Dr. Ghatri is recognized as a Board Certified Orthodontist. He has also been accredited as an Invisalign Diamond Plus Provider and is among the top one percent of Invisalign providers in the United States.
Dr. Ghatri is a firm believer in actively attending continuing education seminars in order to stay on top of the major changes in the dental industry. Continuing education ensures that patients are offered the latest technologies and treatment methods to guarantee that they receive the best treatment and highest quality of service.

Dr. Manhal Eliliwi
Orthodontist
Dr. Manhal Eliliwi was born in Aleppo, Syria. His passion for becoming an Orthodontist led him to start his education at the Damascus University School of Dental Medicine. After he completed his time in Damascus, he moved to the states and completed his research at the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Department of the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Completing his comprehensive education, he received his Orthodontic Certificate from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Manny’s time in school led him to a long-standing list of accomplishments and admiration from his peers. He has spoken at the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) Annual Meeting, published articles in many Orthodontic oriented journals, and is a reoccurring member of the American Dental Association (ADA).
During his time away from being an Orthodontist, he is an avid hiker, an up-and-coming Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen, and loves to spend time with friends and family.

Dr. Cindy Choi
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Cindy Choi joins us in serving the Virginian community she grew up in. After receiving a full scholarship to attend Duke University for her undergraduate studies, she worked as a fellow at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. It is here that Dr. Choi was able to be at the forefront of dentistry and was exposed to the clinical dentistry of patients with rare diseases. She received her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. There she also received honors in community service, the Delta Dental Scholarship for excellence in community service, and in her latest venture, she received the Pediatric Dental Certificate from the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
Dr. Choi is not only skilled at being Laser certified and Single Tooth Anesthesia (STA) certified, but in Colorado, she picked up some great skiing and snowboarding skills as well. She is an athlete at heart. Growing up in Burke, VA, Dr. Choi coached the Special Olympics in swimming and gymnastics and completed the Mission of Mercy in the DMV area. This also led her to travel the world with the Duke Football and Basketball team as a Duke University Cheerleader. During your appointment with Dr. Choi, you can talk to her about K-Pop, K-Dramas, camping, traveling, watching basketball, and all of her fun adventures.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Yim grew up in Iowa and received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating with his DMD, Dr. Yim completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He is trained in cosmetic surgery, pathology and reconstruction, dentoalveolar, trauma, and TMJ surgery.
Dr. Yim is enjoying all that the DMV area has to offer, along with his wife Soyoung, and their corgi, Mona. Ask him about their corgi.

Dr. Dominguez grew up in Mexico City, Mexico and studied at Howard University in Washington D.C. Dr. Joseph Alwan
General Dentist
Dr. Joseph Alwan has been working in the dental field since 1996. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a Master of Science in oral biology from the prestigious UCLA. In 2008, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Alwan then served in the US Army for 8 years, during which he earned several certificates in dental education and commendations for superb performance. In 2016, he settled in Virginia with his wife and two children. Dr. Alwan is dedicated to providing a pleasant dental experience to his patients.
