Dr. Cindy Choi - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Cindy Choi is a board-certified pediatric dentistry who joins us in serving the Virginian community she grew up in. After receiving a full scholarship to attend Duke University for her undergraduate studies, she worked as a fellow at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. It is here that Dr. Choi was able to be at the forefront of dentistry and was exposed to the clinical dentistry of patients with rare diseases. She received her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. There she also received honors in community service, the Delta Dental Scholarship for excellence in community service, and in her latest venture, she received the Pediatric Dental Certificate from the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
Dr. Choi is not only skilled at being Laser certified and Single Tooth Anesthesia (STA) certified, but in Colorado, she picked up some great skiing and snowboarding skills as well. She is an athlete at heart. Growing up in Burke, VA, Dr. Choi coached the Special Olympics in swimming and gymnastics and completed the Mission of Mercy in the DMV area. This also led her to travel the world with the Duke Football and Basketball team as a Duke University Cheerleader. During your appointment with Dr. Choi, you can talk to her about K-Pop, K-Dramas, camping, traveling, watching basketball, and all of her fun adventures.
